Chef Wayne Gebhardt's passion for cooking was born under his grandmother's feet as a child and carried on throughout his professional career and has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Specializing in the development of new innovative products.
He is a Corden Bleu Chef with distinctions and is a senior member with the Emirates Culinary Guild and inspiring judge. Also holding a membership with the South African Chefs Association. He also holds the rank of Maître Rôtisseur with the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs (Bailliae des Émirats Arabesque Unis).
His experience includes work with numerous catering companies, product manufacturers, hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafes, small business startups and cruise ships in South Africa, Alaska, Vanuatu, Maldives, Kuwait, Australia, Caribbean and now the United Arab Emirates.
He specializes in hospitality consultancy, including but not limited to, menus, recipes, product development, training, evaluations, and many more, with private chef work.
Chef Wayne's ambition and curiosity have driven him to discover new aspects to his cooking style and he is always on the lookout for new things. He has always been fascinated with flavor combinations and experimental cooking to satisfy his clients' palates and specific dietary needs.
